Psychotherapist
I believe that therapy works best when it is entirely tailored to who you are, rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all framework. Coming from a background in school social work, I am deeply familiar with navigating the fast-paced, real-world challenges that impact our daily lives, mental health, and relationships.
My practice is dedicated to teens, young adults, and young professionals who are navigating the beautiful, messy, and often stressful seasons of growth and transition. Whether you are an adolescent trying to figure out who you are in a chaotic world, a college student facing an uncertain future, or a young professional trying to survive corporate burnout, I am here to help. I support individuals who are walking through the heavy realities of anxiety, depression, and profound grief, as well as the everyday stress that comes with major life pivots.
I believe therapy is a collaborative, human-to-human partnership rather than a clinical lecture. Coming from a social work background, I don’t view you or your struggles in a vacuum; I look at the whole picture, including the systemic pressures, cultural identities, and environmental stressors that shape your daily life. In our sessions, I weave together deep, insight-oriented exploration with practical, everyday tools. We will use psychodynamic and humanistic approaches to safely look below the surface, helping you process your unique story, understand your past, and uncover the “why” behind old survival strategies or patterns. At the same time, I ground our work in the present moment by integrating structured skills from CBT and DBT. This ensures you leave our sessions with a tangible toolkit for nervous system grounding, reframing anxious thoughts, and managing intense emotions. Above all, my practice is a culturally affirming, social justice-oriented space where you set the pace, your identity is honored, and you are always treated as the ultimate expert on your own life

key beliefs
I believe that everyone carries a unique, complex narrative shaped by their lived experiences. You deserve a space where you are truly heard, deeply understood, and treated as the ultimate expert on your own life.
Healing doesn't happen in a vacuum. Coming from a social work framework, I look at the whole picture. I am committed to a practice that recognizes how systemic inequities, cultural identities, and environmental stressors impact your mental health.
Therapy is a collaborative, human to human relationship. I meet you with warmth, authenticity, and an open mind free of judgment so you can safely explore all parts of who you are.
more about me
I am originally a San Diego, California native and a beach lover through and through, so while I’ve traded the West Coast ocean breeze for Lake Michigan, my sunny outlook is something I always bring into the therapy room!
My passion for supporting others led me to Chicago, where I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work (BSW and MSW) from Loyola University Chicago. I fell in love with the energy of this city and kicked off my professional journey as a school social worker, spending years working directly with high school teens navigating the intense pressures of adolescence.
By nature, I am a deeply social person who genuinely loves meeting new people, hearing their unique stories, and exploring the world through travel. I bring that same innate curiosity, warmth, and love for human connection into my practice. Whether we are exploring a major life pivot or just figuring out how to get through a stressful week, I’m so excited to get to know you and welcome you into a safe, comfortable space where you can truly be yourself.
