In a world where we are rarely given freedom to exist fully as we are, Lisa knows first-hand the importance of a safe and supportive space, and its influence on sustainable change. There is no pressure to be perfect or know exactly where you want to go in therapy, only radical acceptance for who you are and who you can work to be. Lisa is dedicated to patiently challenging you and celebrating you along the way.

Lisa has spent her career working with youth, families, and neurodivergent individuals. She enjoys meeting with clients maneuvering through self-identity, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and assisting them in recognizing thought and belief patterns that no longer serve them. While developing skills and drawing on strengths is an important part of therapy, Lisa also recognizes that some challenges are shaped by forces beyond an individual’s control. She creates space to process the impact of oppressive systems on emotional, spiritual, and mental wellbeing.

In her work with young people, Lisa provides support as they navigate anxiety, depression, and trauma. She enjoys helping them find their voice and increase their confidence so they feel empowered throughout these years of transformation.

Lisa supports her neurodivergent clients in implementing systems and daily practices that promote self-acceptance. Lisa support clients with strategies to combat burnout associated with masking and balancing the societal pressures of living in a neurotypical world. She also works with folks who are deconstructing their faith; exploring who they are and how they’re changing alongside their beliefs.

Lisa takes a client-centered, eclectic approach to her work, utilizing aspects of evidence-based interventions, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy. During sessions, she focuses on building relationships with clients through authenticity, humor, genuine curiosity, and gentle encouragement.

You deserve support that is as unique as you are, whether the weight you carry has become too much, you are seeking to cultivate a deeper connection with yourself, or you aren’t really sure. Lisa wants to join you in finding ways to incorporate more healing, joy, and meaningful connections into your story.

more about me

Lisa’s love of stories is not limited to those of her clients. She is an avid reader and has a TBR (To-Be-Read) list that is ever-growing. As much as she loves cuddling up on the couch with a good book and her pup, Sawyer, Lisa is happiest when she is outside. She is often cycling or walking throughout the city, exploring new foods or simply enjoying the sunshine. She is also always trying something new, and is currently learning Hindi!
